Dave and Michelle Ballard here and we are Over The Hill Overland.  We love road trips and train trips and getting out on the bike or in the motorhome. Finding new places to explore or exploring places we already love. We have 5 grown children and many grandchildren. Currently we have no pets as we want to do some international traveling and think it will be much easier without. We do not just overland, we enjoy just about every type of travel and exploring that you can think of.  We often mix up the type of exploring we do. We may take the motorhome and park it somewhere and tow the bike or the jeep behind to be able to go explore from base camp.  We have built out the Cherokee a little bit. A lift and suspension and a drawer system with a fridge, did a color matched bed liner paint job on it the summer of 2020, and it is doing great.  We keep that for Michelle to drive everyday back and forth to work and for playing in our local mountains where it is very scratchy.  Some people think of pin striping as awards, we tend to do everything we can to not get them.  We have a dodge truck that has had some mods made but haven’t really started the big build on that one yet.  Our Jeep wrangler is where we have been spending the last year building it out. Motorhome and Harley are pretty stock.
